14th International Choir Competition Zadar has ended!
14th International Choir Competition Zadar brought together 10 choirs from Italy, the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Slovenia, Latvia and Croatia, and last night all participants were awarded prizes and diplomas. The international jury awarded the highest number of points to the Aurora Vocal Group (Ljubljana, Slovenia), the Hugo Wolf Chamber Choir (Maribor, Slovenia) and the Effetti Sonori Youth Choir (Foiano della Chiana, Italy). The Grand Prize of the City of Zadar and 3,000 euros went to the Effetti Sonori Youth Choir. We would like to once again congratulate all participants of the competition on excellente performances and achieved results!

1st prize, 91 points and the Bronze Abbess Čika’s Cross : "Josip Kaplan" Youth Choir, Rijeka, Croatia
2nd prize and 88 points: Contunuo Pardubice, Pardubice, Czech Republic2nd prize and 87 points: Mixed Choir of Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, Riga, Latvia
2nd prize and 81 points: Mixed Choir of KUD Moreška, Korčula, Croatia
2nd prize and 81 points: Haxhi Zeka University Choir, Peć, Kosovo
Category B: female choirs
1st prize, 95 points and the Golden Abbess Čika’s Cross: Vocal Group Aurora, Ljubljana, Slovenia
2nd prize and 88 points: Cantus ante omnia, Zagreb, Croatia
Category C: Vocal Ensembles
1st prize - 91 points and the Bronze Cross of Abbess Čika: Maribor Octet, Maribor, Slovenia
Special Award for the Best Program Selection: Youth Choir "Josip Kaplan", Rijeka, Croatia
Special Award for the Best Performance of a Renaissance Composition: Hugo Wolf Chamber Choir - for the performance of the composition: Felice Anerio - Christus factus est
